I recommend a tolerance break. There have been a few studies that show taking a little cannabis break can help you reduce your tolerance to cannabis and help you get that feeling again. Now, I know this can be tough, and it takes a little will power to be successful, but below are a few tips that can help you get through it.
Recognize that it won’t always be easy.
The first 2 weeks are the toughest. While Cannabis doesn’t create the same physical dependence that tobacco, alcohol, or heroin causes, stopping a habitual act can cause some psychological withdrawals. Just the same as not watching tv, missing out on a favorite snack, or whatever else you have formed a habit with.
Let your Smoke buddies know you are taking a break.
The worst part of a tolerance break is having friends constantly asking you to smoke with them. Prevent this by letting them know ahead of time and that they are welcome to come to smoke you out at the end of the break. Make sure to collect on those rain checks!
Liquidate your smokeables!
Make sure you don’t have a stash to tempt you while you take a break!
Start a Hobby
With all of that spare time, you can start a new hobby. try writing, building something, or maybe clean your garage. HAHAHA I’m just kidding.
But use this time to maybe try meditation. This time has become my most valuable time of the day.
